Electrolyte Water versus Alkaline Water
Electrolytes are naturally produced by the body but also are lost through physical activity. Electrolytes are restored when you drink water. Another question to ask yourself is, “Are you drinking a lot of water?”
Most people think they are but they aren’t. If you ever find yourself thirsty during the day, you’re already dehydrated. In today’s world too much caffeine consumption and consumption of sodas or high fructose drinks are contributing to dehydration.
Electrolyte water will simply replenish the electrolytes your body needs to maintain hydration.
Alkaline water is used to balance PH levels in your body. PH levels are used to manage the amount of acid in your body. Normally foods high in sugar and caffeine increase acidity. Balancing PH aids with digestion and also prevents dehydration.
